Who says adventure games are dead? Sure, they've been on life support for the last couple of years.
But with Indigo Prophecy? Between this, the recently released Bone game and the soon to be made Sam & Max game, I do believe that adventure games may make a comeback. As a long time fan of the old Sierra games (and who isn't, really?), this was a breath of fresh air.
Now, I have yet to finish the game yet so no spoilers. I'm just at the part where Carla is in her office and putting the clue together. I'm absolutely loving the supernatural aspect of this game, like the mind reading and such. I've heard the game falls apart about halfway through or so. I wonder if that's due to things from the European (Farenheit, sp?) version that were not included?
Regardless, if the company decides to make another game much like this one? Not even in the same story, universe or anything. Brand new setting and such, I would be there for sure.
Sorry for the rambling. Just haven't been able to speak highly enough about this game since buying it yesterday. :)
